I enjoyed the video about the birds, and while I was watching it I thought how could we compare this to the way people act toward each other sometimes, and the effects of their behavior on themselves and their society. That would make a very good piece of social commentary, don't you think so?
are you a fan of "the shawshank redemption"? the quote you used about birds is from that movie-- from Red, Morgan Freeman's character, about his friend Andy. I really like that movie.

I just found out we share some favorite movies == beauitiful mind and the mask of zorro. We also share the same zodiac sign -- scorpio.
I also think you are right in that paradise is how you feel in a moment in your life. I remember a small quiet spot when I was fishing with my children. The day was beautiful. More recently, I remember that on the day my last grandaughter was born, we were at the hospital -- the whole family, and when we shared that moment, I think all of us were so close and happy. The pictures on your blog are lovely!

Also, I remember the day my last grandaughter was born. The whole family was at the hospital to share the moment with our son and we were so close and happy. Sometimes, just listening to Mozart is wonderful.
